Legislative Affairs
The primary purpose of this committee is to monitor governmental matters, which may impact area business, present recommendations to the Chamber’s Board of Directors, and to initiate appropriate action. The Government Relations Committee acts as a forum for the exchange of ideas between business and government (local, state, and federal).
This committee works collaboratively with other organizations and municipalities on community issues, in addition to supporting the mission for the Fox Valley Political Action Committee.
There are six top issues that have been identified by this committee as a concern to membership and share public policy with elected officials. They are Education & Workforce Development, Economic Development, Transportation, Taxation, Healthcare, and Tourism.
The Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce will always continue its grassroots communication efforts for its membership.
